
The All Progressives Congress (APC), has constituted a new caretaker committee of the Gombe state chapter of the party in its ongoing efforts to reorganize and reconcile party members across the country.
Recall that the party leadership had last year, arising from the irreconcilable differences in the top hierarchy of the party in the state, which it said, led to the fictionalization of the chapter hadrelieved Barr. Muhammed Magaji Doho as state chairman and approved the composition of caretaker officers with Hon. Lawan Shetima to serve as the state chairman.
In a release yesterday, signed by the national publicity secretary, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi, however stated that “arising from the tenure expiration of the Gombe state caretaker working committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC), the National Working Committee (NWC) of the party in the exercise of its powers under Article 13.4 (xvi & xvii) has reconstituted a four-member caretaker committee to fill the vacancies”.
The newly constituted caretaker members are now to be chaired by Hon. Idi Barde Gubana while Alh. Sani Haruna, Bello Kasimu Maigari and Barr. Bichi Obadia is to serve as state dep. chairman, state secretary and state legal secretary, respectively
