1. Millennium Park
The Millennium Park is the largest public park of Abuja, the capital of Nigeria and is located in the Maitama district of the city. The park, which is the largest in Abuja, features a pool, beautifully structured walk way and play toys for kids. Millienuem Park is also suitable for picnics with friends.

2. Silverbird
Located in in Central Business District, Silverbird entertainment center has a cinema, eateries, games arcade, and a host of shops where you can get things for yourself and love ones. It also houses Shoprite.

3. Wonderland Amusement Park
This place suitable for leisure and recreational activities with games and rides mostly for kids. Another good thing about this place is the fact that you can stop over at the National Stadium which is on the same drive.

4. National Children Park and Zoo
With a few animals and a huge playground, the National Childrens’ Park and Zoo in Asokoro is the place to be this Christmas.

5. Pedam Lake
Compared to others, this is not a very popular place in a Abuja. The Pedam Lake is a good tourist site as it lies behind the presidential villa sprawling towards Nasarawa. Accessibility to his park is through the National Children’s Park and Zoo.

6. Abacha Fish Market
Located along Karu/Nyanya expressway, this is the most popular place for all kinds of fish. Whether cooked or barbecued, Abacha fish market is the place to be for all fish lovers in and around Abuja. Drinks here are also sold at very affordable rates
